The Blueberries

The Blueberries

Manos, Hanos, and Phatos are all Magic pets. Their names are a reference to a cult classic horror movie  “Manos: The Hands of Fate” (famous for being among the worst movies ever made).

Forboding Curse (100% hit chance, adds 79 damage to each attack against the target for 3 rounds, also reduces the target’s speed by 25% for 3 rounds; strong vs. flying, weak vs. mechanical)

Arcane Slash (100% hit chance, 322 damage, or 447 damage if user strikes first; strong vs. flying, weak vs. mechanical)

Basic Tips:

  • Counter with Dragonkin-type attacks.
  • Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (Mechanical pet with Dragonkin attacks) is an All-Star on this fight.
  • The Magic pet racial prevents The Blueberries from taking more than 35% of their health in a single attack. As such, 2-round abilities (like Deep Breath) tend to be a waste, doing only slightly more damage than a single attack.
  • Despite the limitation outlined in the previous tip, there are situations in which Deep Breath is useful. If you line up Deep Breath’s charging round such that it occurs when you would be unable or unlikely to deal damage anyway (enemy immunity round, or your pet is blinded) and the attack is unleashed when those debuffs are cleared then the lost round is a moot point.
